Marge Felder, Woodturner, at 80th birthday party

This site is designed to honor the woodturning legacy of Marge Felder (1921-2011). As much as possible, her own words are used. The site as a whole, like Marge’s original website from which she sold her work, is edited and published by her life partner, Cathy Morgan.

Marge continued to make and sell her “small wooden objects” till she retired in the spring of 2009, at age 88. At that time, she began making collage note cards — a medium she pursued with zest until her death at age 90.

During her entire life, Marge was an inspiration to others. This site is one way this inspiration can continue.
